Dear Friends of TARA:
If you are reading this page, your life has been touched in some way by Borderline Personality Disorder. It may be your child, spouse/partner, parent or someone else you care about who is struggling to live with BPD. Whoever it is, you know about the pain and frustration this misunderstood and maligned disorder creates. You may already have experienced TARA’s unique way of helping families by focusing on the latest science based findings, by our non-blaming attitude towards parents, and by our commitment to Mentalization Based Therapy and Relationship Repair. We may even have helped your family.
If you have searched for help, you know that it is difficult to find effective treatment; that the help available is not good enough; that very litle reseach has been done on new treatments for BPD. BPD is a STOP sign, most clinicians don’t want to treat or diaganose it! For the last 30 years "we have all been moving the deck chairs on the proverbial Titanic." Very little progress has been made to decrease the emotional pain people with BPD live with every day.
What would you give to have a new treatment that could
decrease your loved one's negativity? What would it be worth to you if your loved one could experience positive feelings such as
trust, connection and self worth? What would you donate if we could develop a new treatment to give your loved one a chance for a better life?
TARA is Partnering with Researchers
to develop this new BPD treatment
Together we are initiating the very first study of BPD treatment with the psychedlic MDMA plus Mentalization Based Therapy(MBT).
Psychedelic research indicates that this can create long term changes and learning new behaviors for your loved one.
Give your loved one a better future!!
